Martin Potts is the director of the telecommunications consulting company Martel, based in Bern, Switzerland. Martel specialises in helping large organisations find their way through the complex process of building and managing European Commission projects.
Martin is a senior technical consultant and project manager with many years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He has managed international projects and chaired strategic committees within the scope of European collaborative research and development activities for the past 25 years.
He is currently co-ordinating a European project that is working with Chinese organisations to identify common Future Internet activities. He is also exploring opportunities for Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) testbeds to integrate into the EU EIT ICT Labs Programme and is active in the Public-Private Partnership Programme (FI-PPP) programme through the projects INFINITY and XIFI.
